Raymond J. Hodsoll Jr. of Galway has been named manager of design engineering at the General Electric Research and Development Center.
He will direct a group of engineers and technicians engaged in the design and development of electronic systems, microcomputer systems and mechanical equipment.
A native of Albany, Hodsoll joined the center in 1966 as a design engineer.
