CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Lithuanian satellite service provider SatGate has resumed transmission via SES ASTRA's orbital position at 31.5 degrees east, using the capacity to supply broadband and internet connectivity to Eastern and Central Europe, Russia, the Missle East and surrounding territories.

SES ATRA said that SatGate, which started using the ASTRA 5A satellite in August 2008, is now broadcasting via the ASTRA 2C satellite which has replaced the ASTRA 5A after that satellite was lost in January 2009. ASTRA 2C was reactivated in April 2009 and offers 24 BSS transponders.

With the new contract, SatGat now uses five transponders on SES satellites, one previously contracted on the Sirius 4 satellite and four on the ASTRA 2C. SatGate has indicated that it intends to extend its customer offerings from this satllite position in the 'near future'.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.
